We purchased a hot tub from Scunthorpe Hot Tubs and were really impressed with how well they communicated with us. Most of it was done through email, but they also picked up the phone when needed, being quick to respond and very detailed. Even though we faced some delivery challenges because of the weather, the installation crew was fantastic. They were super professional and had a great 'can-do' spirit. We're really happy with our new tub and would definitely suggest this company to anyone in the market for a hot tub.

I can't complain about the installation, but the aftersales service is just terrible. The first issue was that the heater failed within a year. I had to wait three months for a replacement, and getting updates was like pulling teeth. Then, six months later, the UV light started leaking. I had to request an engineer multiple times, and when he finally came, he said the light would be ordered. But after six weeks of waiting, I found out I’d need to pay upfront for the light and the call-out fee (£289) before they’d even order it. That’s a bit concerning; reputable companies usually don’t ask for payment until the job’s done. Just a heads up, they’re great at selling you things, but when it comes to fixing issues, they seem to lose interest.

What a delight it was to work with them from the very start to the finish. They kept us in the loop before we decided on the tub we were after and were attentive to our inquiries. As for the delivery, those guys were super helpful throughout the whole installation process and made sure to explain how the tub works before they left, plus they took all the trash with them. This is a fantastic company to engage with from beginning to end, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend them.

I foolishly believed the offer shown on their site would end soon, so I put down a £50 deposit thinking I’d chat next week. Turns out, the deal just reset. They couldn’t set up where I wanted, which was fine, so I asked for my £50 back—no biggie, right? Well, two months later, still no refund. I’m sharing this for two reasons: don’t get tricked into thinking the deal will vanish; it’s always around. And for the love of all that’s good, don’t hand over any cash. Next step for me is to reclaim through Visa and shoot an email to trading standards; I reckon they’re already onto them. Terrible service, there are way better options out there.
